On April 27, 2026, we were able to attend University of Delaware’s Send-off Event for their DPT2 students at the Star Campus and present four $2500 scholarships to very deserving individuals heading off to their full-time clinical residency rotations. About WeRunWithYou and Our Mission

WeRunWithYou is a non-profit organization founded by Kathy Nguyen and her husband, Rob Alvarez, to support brain aneurysm survivors. The statistics show that 1 in 50 people have an unruptured aneurysm. Kathy was one in 50 and on March 8th, 2015 she suffered a rupture. This experience motivated Kathy to start #RunLAwithKathy and WeRunWithYou. 

Our mission is to improve the lives of people suffering from brain injury and disease by funding research to improve patient outcomes, raising awareness, and providing support for survivors and their families. We utilize our love for running and endurance sport to fuel this mission.
